When you apply or study at the Technion, the information we may process includes:
• Personal and contact details: such as full name, date of birth, gender, address, email and phone number.
• Academic and educational status: such as previous degrees, study history, grades and courses, awards and scholarships.
• Administrative information and supporting documents: such as your CV, recommendation letters, declarations and records of your inquiries.
• Financial information: such as payment records and the documents needed to charge tuition and to assess your eligibility for scholarships and dormitories.
• Medical information, only if you choose to provide it: such as information about disabilities or special needs and requests for accommodations.

At the application stage, the information is used to assess your suitability for admission; to stay in contact with you (updates, requests for documents, administrative coordination, invitations to events and information about benefits and opportunities); to document and manage your application; to consider a dormitory request where relevant; for anonymous statistics; for identity verification and information security; and to meet legal requirements. After admission, it is used to plan and manage your studies and provide services such as registration, tuition, exams, transcripts and certificates, and access to Technion facilities and computing services, and to improve the Technion's services.

The Technion may use artificial intelligence tools to streamline processes and improve services, in line with the guidelines of the Privacy Protection Authority and the law.
